Shortboards- Shortboards are high performance boards. The are used by intermediate and advanced surfers. These boards are used in powerful high performance waves. Most Pro surfers on the ASP World Tour use shortboards if not all of them. Shortboards are great for performing areials. These boards are the most popular type of board. However i must make it very clear that you do not want to learn to surf on a shortboard. Shortboards Range from 5′10-6′8ish
