CEO and Founder of WAVETRIBE, Derek D, a rider of waves for the last two and a half decades, wanted to give something back to the sport which he loves so much. As surfers we can undoubtedly see the effects that “man-kind” has placed on the earth and its oceans. With the amount of surfers in the water at an all-time high, and an industry full of copycats and followers, we couldn’t’t quite identify with any of the surfing brands or products which have been shoved down our throats for so long.
