There are a few things to look for in a beginner surf spot. Here is a list of the 5 most important things in a beginner surf spot:

  • A sandy Bottom if possible
  • Small rolling waves – 1-3 feet
  • Other beginner surfers
  • Lifeguards on Duty
  • Calm Surf Conditions
