Lower Trestles was quite crowded this morning as some of the Worlds Best Surfers came down to get one more warmup session in. It looked like a Surfboard Test Center as most of the Pro's had 2-4 boards while searching for that one "magic" board. And nothing was more obvious than how far surfboard technology has come with board shape, stringers and fins.
Julian Wilson, Brett Simpson, Kolohe Andino and Kelly Slater are just a few of the guys in the water and trying to get acclimated to one of the best waves in the world. Waves were in the 2-4 foot range and it looked more like a beach break this morning with so many different peaks and sections, definitely not your average day of Lower Trestles. The 2012 Hurley Pro gets started this Sunday and you aren't gonna want to miss it!
