Lower Trestles | August 3 2012

As many top ASP World Surfers were eliminated from the 2012 US Open of Surfing this week, many took some time to escape down to Lower Trestles for a couple of fun waves. The same was true this morning as a building south swell began to show in the water.

Waves were in the chest to head-high height and plenty of talented surfers were in the lineup. Mick Fanning was a clear standout picking off the best waves in the session. He definitely looked ready for the 2012 Hurley Pro which will take place in a couple weeks.
