Surfing in Laguna Beach can be one of the best experiences or the worst experiences depending on the day. If the surf is small and you find yourself surrounded by tourists chances are you are going to wish you never paddled out.
But if the surf is pumping with only a few guys out then you are probably pretty stoked. There are numerous waves within Laguna Beach that will test your skills and is the training ground for many local standouts from the surrounding High Schools.
Just remember to pay close attention to the tides and crowd factors as in the summer parking can be a hassle.
