Jordy Smith
Jordy Smith ranks among the top innovative and powerful surfers on the ASP world tour. At 6’2 Jordy Smith is also one of the bigger surfers on tour, which has it advantages and disadvantages. Mr. Smith grew up in Durban, South Africa. However he now resides in Newport Beach, California. Jordy Smith can often be spotted surfing trestles and newport when there is a good swell. At only 21 years old Jordy Smith has a long and most likely successful career ahead of him.

Hurley Pro 2009 Trestles
With the Hurley Pro starting this Sunday at Lower Trestles there are a lot of things that you can expect. Here is a list of 5:
1. Some of the best surfers, surfing a “skate park” wave.
2. People protesting the $15 parking fee at the state lot next to Carls Juniors
3. Big Crowds
4. Competitors going all out to win the $100,000
5. Some memorable heats between close friends and at the same time opponents.
