Body Surfing
One way to get in touch with the ocean and waves is to start body surfing. Once you start body surfing you will notice it will improve you wave reading skills. Body surfing also improves your swimming abilities. Turn closeouts into fun and start bodysurfing when waves are big barreling closeouts. I suggest using viper fins for body surfing.

See Ya at The Beach,
The Surfboard Man
I/THREE/Sixty Giveaway – August 2009
This month The Surfboard Man.com will be giving away a i360 Music Infused Headband and T-Shirt. i360 designed a headband which takes the Ipod to a whole new level. Your ipod and speakers are stored in the headband to give you wire-free music while exercising, etc. The headband is well worth the money to take the wires out of your workout. Although it is not waterproof you can use it while getting ready to surf or while chilling on the beach. I find the i360 headband very comfortable and practical.

Here is some more information from there website:
The i360 was thought up by Aaron Phillips at the age of 22. Aaron grew up living the usual life – going to school, playing sports, and moving with the flow as the rest of the kids. Always coming up with ideas and ways to make things function better, Aaron loved to do things slightly different. School was never his strength because he was too busy thinking, what the teacher’s referred to as spacing out and decided to leave after the start of his sophomore year in college. Going on to work at restaurants, retail stores, and then a mortgage company, Aaron was diagnosed with Mono and was forced to stop working. Money had to be made and SoundEscapes was born. Starting as an online wholesale car audio company that dropped shipped products to customers.
Working out in the gym training to get his health back Aaron noticed a woman wearing a pink bandana over her ears with her ear buds underneath and the wires running into her pocket. Looking down at his iPod, after a brutal drop on the floor and surprised the thing still worked, the i360 seed was planted. Hanging on to the idea for sometime Aaron decided to act. He tore the turtle neck off an Under Armor shirt and made the first prototype. Sketches were made and provisional patents were written. Working with a design company and utilizing contacts, Aaron transformed Soundescapes into a corporation, sourced a manufacture, filed a legit patent and began working on the brand – i360 Music Infused Apparel.
